Mike is the Founder of Melbourne Fitness and Performance and is an athletic performance coach and injury rehabilitation/prevention specialist, with a passion for coaching aspiring athletes to their full potential and mentoring young coaches.

With 15+ years of experience at amateur to elite level, Coach Mike has helped people and athletes from all sporting backgrounds to achieve their training and sports goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Science 

  • Master of Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning)

Mitch is an Athletic Performance Coach with a clear passion for junior and youth athletic development. He leads MFP’s Youth Athlete Development program, building the foundations of speed, strength, coordination, and confidence.

Over the past 10 years, supported by a Master’s degree, Mitch has worked in semi-professional basketball and netball and coached athletes who’ve competed at international, national, and state level across multiple sports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Science (Honours) 

  • Master of Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning)

  • ASCA Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach

Mitch is MFP’s High Performance Manager, overseeing the performance program across coaching, testing, programming, and athlete development.

He also serves as the Athletic Performance Manager at the Melbourne Mavericks Netball Club. Previously, Mitch was the Head of Strength & Conditioning at Hawthorn FC (AFLW) and the Performance Preparation Coordinator at Carlton FC (AFLW). With experience across elite football and netball environments, he brings high standards, clear processes, and athlete-first systems to every program at MFP.
