Melbourne Fitness & Performance has been designed by passionate industry leading professionals who have come together to create a space for athletes to reach their athletic potential.

Our coaches have worked with athletes from the following professional organisations:

Mike is the Founder of Melbourne Fitness and Performance and is an athletic performance coach and injury rehabilitation/prevention specialist, with a passion for coaching aspiring athletes to their full potential and mentoring young coaches.

With 15+ years of experience at amateur to elite level, Coach Mike has helped people and athletes from all sporting backgrounds to achieve their training and sports goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Science 

  • Master of Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning)

Mitch is an Athletic Performance Coach with a passion for junior and youth athletic development.

Drawing on his experience over the past 10 years, his Master’s degree and his time working in semi-professional basketball, Mitch has helped athletes from all ages and sports achieve their athletic training goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Science (Honours) 

  • Master of Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning)

  • ASCA Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach

Mitch is an Exercise Physiologist and Athletic Performance Coach with a passion for rehabilitation focussed on a return to performance in sport.

Along with leading our Rehab2Performance program, Mitch is also the Head of Strength & Conditioning of Hawthorn Football Club in their AFLW Program, and prior to this spent 3 seasons at Carlton Football Club in the AFLW as their Performance Preparation Coordinator. These experiences along with many others have allowed Mitch to bring his elite level rehabilitation & performance practices to our programs and athletes.

  • Master of Exercise Physiology

Ryan is a dedicated Athletic Performance Coach, driven to help athletes achieve their sporting dreams. Along with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Strength & Conditioning, Ryan draws upon 10 years’ experience as a Tennis Coach to formulate his philosophy and approach to athlete development. Specialising in Tennis, he works with a diverse range of athletes, spanning across multiple sports from juniors to sub-elite; taking great pride in seeing others find success in fulfilling their ambitions.

  • Master of Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning)

  • ASCA Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach

  • Tennis Australia Club Professional Tennis Coach

Dave is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Athletic Performance Coach who has a passion for Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Sports Performance. He strongly believes that the rehabilitation process is an opportunity to improve weaknesses, develop your strengths and return to your sport or activity as a better athlete.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Clinical Exercise Physiology

  • ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach (Level 2 in progress)

Sophie first joined TeamMFP as a Return2Perform athlete over 4 years ago to rehabilitate a proximal hamstring rupture and since has come Clinic Manager and Administrator.

Sophie is super passionate about MFP & the High Performance training we provide for athletes all across Melbourne. As a former MFP athlete, Sophie lives and breathes our training model and is success story of our Return2Perform Injury Rehabilitation program.

Sophie is a cricket athlete & currently plays for the Victorian Women’s Cricket Team & the Melbourne Stars WBBL as a wicket-keeper/opening batter.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Applied Science & Arts

  • Undertaking Masters

Natasha Sneddon is a qualified Physiotherapist currently completing her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University. She is the current AFLW Rehab Physiotherapist at Carlton Football Club and was at Western Bulldogs prior to this role. 


Natasha is passionate about supporting elite and recreational athletes through all aspects of their training and physical well being. Being an ex Australian Gymnast and current runner herself, she understands the demands of training and competition on the human body and mind. 

Combining both manual therapy and exercise based rehabilitation, Tash works with each individual to strive for progress and performance on and off the field.
