Sports Physio & Sports Rehabilitation — Return-to-Sport Plans

Stop “doing rehab.” Start rebuilding performance.

Most sports rehabilitation fails because it's treated like physio-only or gym-only. At MFP, your sports physio and performance training are integrated into a clear plan with milestones, so you return confident, strong, and harder to break next time.

Let's be honest

Why Most “Rehab Programs” Don't Stick

Most injured athletes we see weren't doing anything wrong — they were training in environments that didn't set them up right. Squeezed gym sessions around team training, undercoached, stuck at loads that accumulated fatigue without building real strength.

And now, looking at rehab, you've probably thought one of these:

  • “That's a lot per week… what am I actually getting?”
  • “How long will I need to do this?”
  • “What if I invest and it doesn't work?”

Fair.

Step 1

Rehab Mapping Session ($179)

This is your starting point. Two sessions that give you complete clarity on where you are and what you need.

  • 1 × physio session to assess injury status, pain drivers, and restrictions
  • 1 × performance session to map movement capacity + training plan
  • A clear recommendation on which plan you need (and what not to waste time on)

Includes your first physio + first exercise physiology session · You leave with clarity, not guesswork

Choose your plan

Return-to-Sport Plans

Different injuries need different timelines. Your plan is chosen based on injury type, stage, sport demands, and your return date.$179/week for the first 12 weeks, then $149/week as your rehab evolves into performance training. The difference between plans is the structure, milestones, and end goal.

8–12 weeks

Return Plan

Best for: Short-term injuries, first-time injuries, or athletes who need to get back soon but do it right.

What this phase focuses on

  • — Restoring capacity, confidence, and training rhythm
  • — Pain-free movement + strength foundations
  • — Returning to sport with less re-injury risk

You'll get

  • ✓ Weekly integrated rehab training
  • ✓ Clear weekly targets (what we're building and why)
  • ✓ A return-to-training progression (so you don't rush it)

You return to training and sport with a body that can actually handle it — not just one that “feels okay.”

12–24 weeks

Rebuild Plan

Best for: Recurring injuries, longer lay-offs, failed comebacks, or chronic niggles that keep coming back.

What this phase focuses on

  • — Rebuilding robust tissue capacity
  • — Fixing the reasons you got injured in the first place
  • — Progressing from rehab → performance without the drop-off

You'll get

  • ✓ A progression roadmap across phases (not random weekly sessions)
  • ✓ Strength + speed reintroduction at the right time
  • ✓ Sport-specific conditioning that matches your return demands

You don't just return — you return better prepared than before the injury.

24–52 weeks

Resilience Plan

Best for: ACL reconstructions, major surgeries, long-term injuries — athletes who say "I'm not doing this twice."

What this phase focuses on

  • — Long timeline done properly (and mentally easier)
  • — Staged milestones: capacity → speed → power → reactive change of direction
  • — Building a body that can handle sport again, at the level you want

You'll get

  • ✓ Milestone-based phases (so you always know what you're working on)
  • ✓ Return-to-sport standards (not “feel-based” decisions)
  • ✓ Continuity into performance training so you don't drop off once symptoms settle

A true return-to-sport rebuild — not a rushed comeback.

What you actually get

Every Week, Here's What Happens

  • Integrated rehab + performance training plan
  • A coach-led session focused on what you need next (not generic exercises)
  • Progressions and regressions based on how you respond
  • Communication between coaching and physio (no mixed messages)
  • Milestones that tell you when you're ready to progress (and when you're not)

The question everyone asks

How Long Will I Be in Rehab?

It depends on injury type, history, and your sport demands — but you won't be left guessing.

After your Rehab Mapping Session, we'll recommend one of the plans above and explain:

  • Why that timeline makes sense
  • What the key milestones are
  • What “return-ready” actually looks like for your sport

What happens after rehab

Rehab Doesn't End — It Evolves

A common mistake is finishing rehab and “going back to normal training” overnight.

When you're ready, we transition you into a performance membership with a plan already built — so you keep progressing while staying resilient.
